Basque is a region that straddles the Northern border of Spain and France, in the Province of Aragon. Our family, from the City of Teruel, traversed the South Atlantic Ocean to Argentina in the 1800’s and brought with them, the chimichurri we now make for you.
In the modern culinary universe, chimichurri is the epitome of Argentine cuisine – no asado (family bbq) is complete if there is no chimichurri at the table.
Our secret family recipe is by far the most authentic version of this garlicky condiment. It’s complex flavour is a nod to it’s Northern Mediterranean origins – the regions that bridge the area of Northern Spain, France and Italy.
